This work explores my own family archive through projections and seeks to bridge the connection between past and present through family photographs. The slides used were created by my Grandfather who documented our family throughout his lifetime.

The slides allow me to see my family before I was born and have given me the opportunity to reuse this material in order to create new work and reinterpreted my family album.   

Many people from my generation have never seen slides or have viewed their family albums this way. I have projected the album within the spaces that are most relevant to the people within the images, allowing the album to become more contemporary and relevant
